The Dominican Arts Project has created three plays...
The plays allow any teacher, with or without access to a music specialist or music department, to provide students an exciting musical drama experience, whether in a class play or an all-school production.
Each play packet contains...
- A director's script for the teacher that includes not only the script but suggestions for staging and ideas for scenery and costumes
- A music and choregraphy guide for those with a pianist or ensemble to play live music that includes the score for all the songs as well as our suggestions for simple choregraphy
- A reproducible student script containing the dialog and lyrics for all the songs which can be reproduced for each performer
- A CD containing two versions of each song: one with performers singing the lyrics for rehearsal purposes and the other with accompaniment only to be used for the actual performance, if needed.
